Cerro Tronador & Glaciar Negro
The highest mountain in the Nahuel Huapi National Park, at 3,478 meters, unfolds at its feet an impressive glacial tongue covered by volcanic ash, which gives the ice its particular black color.
Description
After skirting the Gutiérrez and Mascardi Lakes, the Manso River bridge is crossed and the vegetation becomes more and more exuberant. A few kilometers away is the Mascardi Lake viewpoint, where you can stop to enjoy mountain nature. Between imposing mountains opens the Pampa Linda, a beautiful valley with multiple postcards, wild corners and gastronomic offer. A little further on is the famous Ventisquero Negro glacier. At the end of the road, you reach the base of Cerro Tronador, where you can enjoy nature and go on walks.
