Puerto Blest & Cascada de los Cántaros
If you have not yet had the experience of navigating Lake Nahuel Huapi through its most imposing arm, the Blest arm, get ready to enjoy a unique and incomparable moment.
Description
Sailing from Puerto Pañuelo, on the Llao Llao peninsula, this tour proposes you to visit the Centinela islet, where the remains of the Expert Francisco Pascasio Moreno, father of the National Parks in Argentina, rest, to then arrive at Cascada de los Cantaros. Then, on the way up, you can go into the lush vegetation of the Valdivian jungle, reach Cantaros Lake, the birthplace of the waterfall, to enjoy the overwhelming presence of a larch tree more than 1,500 years old. You will sail just five more minutes to finally arrive at Puerto Blest, the place that has amazed tourists who visit it from the most diverse countries in the world for years. You can visit the bay from there and get to know the shores of Lake Frias, whose peculiar green waters come from one of the glaciers of Cerro Tronador, the natural border between Argentina and Chile.
