Circuito Chico

This tour, perhaps the most traditional of all tours, begins its journey in the center of the city along Av. Bustillo towards the west, an avenue that is located on the south bank of Lake Nahuel Huapi and that borders this lake in almost every point of the tour. This way, the city, the forest and the lakes are fully integrated.

Description

The Circuito Chico tour begins in San Carlos de Bariloche to cover, in just 60 kilometers, an interesting variety of points on the coast of the Nahuel Huapi Lake.

8 kilometers away is Playa Bonita, from where you can see Isla Huemul. 10 kilometers further on, you will reach Cerro Campanario, which has a chairlift to reach up to 1,050 meters in height and, from the top, observe the immensity of the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes, Laguna El Trébol, the Peninsula San Pedro and Peninsula Llao Llao, as well as the Isla Victoria, Otto, López, Goye and Catedral mountains, and the city of Bariloche.

The tour continues bordering Laguna El Trébol, to then cross the Moreno Lake bridge in its narrowness. Leaving the lake shore behind, a Panoramic Point emerges: a natural balcony from which you can see Moreno Lake and the Llao Llao peninsula. Further on, Bahía López is appreciated and the Angostura river is crossed over a bridge that joins the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes. From there you will begin to see the golf courses, the imposing Llao Llao Hotel and the beautiful San Eduardo Chapel (architectural jewels of the region). Here is also Puerto Pañuelo, from where the boats leave for Isla Victoria and Bosque de Arrayanes. Two kilometers later it merges with Avenida Bustillo, at kilometer 18, where we return to Bariloche.
