Description

The tour begins at Av. Bustillo, to the west of the city of Bariloche, after passing Playa Bonita, turn left to Virgen de la Nieves. Heading to the right, you drive to the destination Villa del Catedral, at the foot of the hill that has all the services for the visitor (accommodation, restaurants, coffee shops, etc). Arriving at Cerro Catedral is to be in the largest mountain activities center in South America, chosen like this more than 60 years ago for being the cradle of skiing in our country.

It owes its name to the similarity of its stone peaks that crown the summit with the towers of a Gothic cathedral. To ascend to the peak, visitors have access to the cableway, a transport that runs almost 3,200 m, from the base to 1,800m height.
